Morning Prayer for coming to Jesus when shame tells you to hide - Shame wants you to hide from God. But Jesus says, "Come to Me - especially now, especially broken, especially weak." There's a voice that tells you to wait until you're better, until you've fixed yourself, until you've earned the right to approach God again. But that voice is not from your Father. That voice is shame - and shame always pushes you away from the only One who can help. Scripture: "For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are - yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." – Hebrews 4:15-16 "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." – Romans 8:1 You've been pulling back. Not from faith entirely - but from God. Going through the motions while keeping your distance because deep down, you feel like you don't deserve to come close. You've failed again. Struggled again. Fallen into the same patterns you swore you were done with. And there's a voice whispering that God must be tired of you. But His Word says something different: come with CONFIDENCE - not confidence in yourself, but confidence in His grace. TIMESTAMPS: 0:00 - Opening: Shame Says Hide, Jesus Says Come 0:35 - Truth: Jesus Invites You When You're Struggling 1:30 - Guided Prayer: I Come As I Am 4:30 - Confession & Receiving No Condemnation 7:15 - Declarations of Freedom 9:00 - Final Blessing & Closing WHAT THIS PRAYER COVERS: Coming to God as you actually are, not as you wish you were Confessing failures without wallowing - releasing them instead Receiving the truth that there is NO condemnation in Christ Understanding that Jesus empathizes with your weakness, He doesn't despise it Stopping the cycle of hiding and waiting until you're "good enough" Approaching the throne of grace with confidence - not in yourself, but in Him Hebrews 4:15-16 says we have a High Priest who was tempted in EVERY way, just as we are. He doesn't stand far from your weakness - He EMPATHIZES with it. And He invites you to come with CONFIDENCE to receive mercy and grace in your time of need. Not after you've fixed yourself. Not when you've earned the right. NOW. This is your time of need - and the throne room is open. Together we'll stop running and hiding, confess without shame, receive the mercy that's already available, and walk into this day knowing we are not condemned - we are loved.
