Community speaks out against Labor's renewables plan at town hall event

National MP Anne Webster discussed the recent town hall event against Labor's renewables plan, which was held in the small town of Kenya in Victoria's northwest. The event was organised by Ms Webster and attended by state Shadow Energy Minister David Davis and federal Energy Shadow Minister Ted O'Brien. She expressed her gratitude to the shadow ministers for attending and allowing the community to speak to them face-to-face. "It was very rewarding to have the community able to speak to the shadow ministers face to face and to hear their responses," Ms Webster told Sky News host Peta Credlin. “So I am very grateful that both shadow ministers came and I certainly will continue to bat for my community because it's our communities out in Mallee who are being impacted by these disastrous plans by Labor.”
