Please read the description, there are lot of informations here below. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here is a quick reminder of the situation of the volcano when the video was shot. Summer 2014 has been wonderful for stromboli lovers. It's hasn't been so active since long time ago. The eruptions were so strong and frequent, that climbing on the top was forbidden for more than 20 days. The day of our arrival on the island, it was possible to climb it again. So the eruptions were marvellous. With more than 9 active craters, you could enjoy an eruption every 5-8 minutes, but lava was countinuously popping out during the entire hour that we spend on the summit. What you can see on the video, is summary of 50 minutes of film.
