Why I'm Canceling My Craftsy Membership in 2021

UPDATE 7/12/22:    • Craftsy Now Offering FREE Premium Mem...   (UPDATE: Interesting timing that I called to cancel my Craftsy auto-renewal on February 2nd, put out this video on February 12th, then received a confirmation email at 8:44PM on February 16th after thousands of people viewed it...) After being a longtime Craftsy / Bluprint customer for over 5 years, plus an affiliate promoting the online learning platform here at the Sewing Report - I have made the decision to cancel my membership subscription when it runs out in March 2021. I am not encouraging you to cancel your Craftsy membership, but did want to share my own experience with the company and explain my reasons for this choice. It pretty much boils down to the price of $79.99 / year, lack of usage, and current Craftsy business practices. When I called Craftsy to request that my account NOT be auto-renewed, I was told they did have a lower tier for $29.99 (not sure what that includes), and that even without paying - I should be able to access the 60+ classes in my account library. Of course, I will be back with an update on the process...
