Why Ganja Is Banned but Bhang Isn’t! 🔶🔸🔶🔸 Socials 🔸🔶🔸🔶 Insta- / aakash_explains Bhang, Ganja, Charas - These three terms which are often used inter-changeably in India have different legal implications. All these three products come from the same plant - Cannabis. The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (NDPS Act) tells which part of the plant will be legal depending upon the intoxication level of the plant. Bhang comes from the leaves and steam of cannabis and is less intoxicating. Due to this reason it is legal in India. Further, Ganja comes from the flower and is highly intoxicating. For this reason it is not allowed in India. Charas comes from rubbing the dried leaves of Cannabis and is also banned. But due to the cheap price of Cannabis in India, the demand is very high. Also Delhi and Mumbai are one of the highest cannabis consuming cities in the World. #ndps #ndpsact #right #holi #bhang #ganja #banaras #varanasi #hemp Keywords used in video- Bhang allowed Indian food Bhang Indian drink Ganja India laws Cannabis India laws Hemp India laws NDPS act 1985 in Hindi
