Mew's first show of 2026, and the band's last show in Finland and their 2nd last show (for the time being and with Mew as we know them, before Jonas Bjerre's departure from Mew), part of their 30th anniversary and The Farewell Shows tour. The concert took place in Helsinki Jäähalli / Ice Hall Finland on the 30th of January 2026. Mew holds a very special place in my heart, it's sad and unfortunate the band's story, at least in its current lineup and form with the band's future being uncertain after Jonas' departure, is coming to an end. Mew's music and live shows are unforgettable, and they've affected and changed our lives in ways they can't even imagine. I am and always will be grateful for what they've done. The memories, the shows, the music, the art.
