I went for a quick afternoon throw in the hopes of catching a white steenbras or a baardman! The session started off very slow. I decided to throw a small bait on a 2/0 circle hook. Not long and I convinced young white steenbras to eat my bait! some time went by and I decided to make the infamous last throw, that's when I really got lucky! My bait of choice was a small bloodworm on a tiny 2/0 circle hook! Once I hooked the fish, I knew I was in for a fight as I knew my tackle was boxing way below the fighting class! After taking my time and testing my patience I finally landed the massive kob! Kob go by names like daga Salmon, kabeljou and in Australia they are known as Mulloway or Jewfish.
