“Just The Two Of Us” by Grover Washington Jr. W/Bill Withers (Arr.John Wasson)

This is one of my favorite songs of all time. Released in 1980, Just The Two Of Us was a massive hit and it was nominated and won the Grammy award for “Best Rhythm And Blues Song”. This arrangement by John Wasson pays homage to the late genius and legendary saxophonist, Grover Washington Jr. It also has its own takes with improvisation and some sensational ensemble licks. This is a phenomenal chart, the band worked hard on this, and we loved playing this live. Hope you enjoy!
