My name's Lisa Hall, I'm the Health and Safety Manager for T&W Civil Engineering. I'm Jack Burchnall, I'm Contracts Manager for T&W Civil Engineering. We have approximately 450 operatives working on 25 site locations and approximately 45 phases the problems that we run into across all our various phases is communication and losing information. Hand-writing things down, filing stuff away, health & safety file was very paper orientated. It was kind of looking after the event a little bit so we'd be waiting for costs to come in at the end of the month but really in order to get the most out of the business we wanted to be able to look at that in real-time. We had explored various different options to use for the health and safety department, after the initial meeting with Sitemate it was an absolute no-brainer that we had to use them. We decided to proceed with Dashpivot following that initial call really, one of the founders is from our industry, has experience in the industry and we felt that he just really understood our requirements. The reason we kind of really clicked with Dashpivot is how user friendly is for the site, particularly because they aren't always the most IT friendly kind of guys they found it very very quick and easy to use. Everything i've ever wanted in my head to solve health and safety issues was kind of laid out in that initial meeting. One of the main benefits for me for Dashpivot is the usability outside, I can go out, and the guys on site can go out use the phones take all the snaps they need get any evidence they need because once it's on there it's on there forever, I could always go back and have a look at it, with the scanning system, toolbox talks, pre-starts, inductions, changes to the RAMS, anything, yeah it's fantastic system, makes signing in or anything to do with logging attendance very easy. It also allows us to look at variations and additional works in real-time. The quality of the information we get is better and it's quicker, Dashpivot allows the whole business to kind of pull together in all departments as well, so the quality, the variations for the quantity surveyors, finance, and health and safety, all together.We started off very basic with just health and safety features signing in, signing out and then with everyone's input we've created new templates and adapted them on a daily, weekly basis. Just feels like as business grows or legislation changes it's something that we can use in order to grow. Sometimes we've had challenges with previous software that once we kind of go ahead and press the green button a little bit the communication or support drops off but we've not found that at all with Dashpivot, we've found the team really engaging from day one and that's not changed. I definitely recommend Dashpivot, it definitely saves me and my foreman lots of time on a daily basis and also gives us lots of live access to things we wouldn't ordinarily see unless we're out on the field all day, every day. I'd recommend Dashpivot to any business looking to streamline their process whether that's finance or any other area of the business. I would be happy to recommend Dashpivot to anyone, and I think it's got the flexibility to work in any industry. And it was only when we then had the meeting and they showed us how it all works we were like, mate, this is unreal so that's why we went with Sitemate.
