A community that was basically about a 5 minute walk from my Hotel in East Jerusalem , and i didnt even know it . I was warned by many locals actually NOT to go there as it was dangerous .. Dangerous in that i may get rocks ir eggs thrown at me ! Which of course wasnt at all the case ! It was absolutely fascinating to walk through the streets that look like things havent changed since it was established ! I knew in advance what to wear and what not to wear , so if you’re planning on a visit here , do some research on the dress code ! Many men wouldn’t even look at me , and some hid their eyes from me , i tried to interact with people by asking questions , hence me asking for a wine shop ! Ive no idea why i asked that , i think id seen it on a vlog ( a small wine shop ) and i was surprised at how many of the men tried to understand me and help me . There is a group in this community that is totally pro Palestine and against the state of israel and anti Zionistas they believe the state of Israel can only be established after the arrival of the Messiah !
