Here are some common types: Congenital Ear Deformities: Microtia: Underdevelopment of the external ear. Anotia: Absence of the external ear. Constricted Ear: Also known as lop ear or cup ear, where the upper rim of the ear is tight, wrinkled, or folded over. Cryptotia: The upper portion of the ear is buried under the skin. Stahl’s Ear: The ear has a pointed shape with an extra fold of cartilage. Prominent Ears: Ears that stick out more than 2 centimeters from the side of the head. Ear Tags: Benign growths of skin and cartilage, usually in front of the ear. Earlobe Deformities: Conditions like double earlobes and cleft (split) earlobes.
