IPMS B-17 Diorama, August 6, 2014

This video shows a 1/32-scale B-17 diorama built by Mr. Jorge Mustafa of Puerto Rico, on display at the national show of the International Plastic Modelers Society that opened on August 6, 2014. By adding various microprocessors, miniature servos, and tiny LED lights, he duplicates the sound and sight of a B-17 starting its engines, revving them up to takeoff speed, and then shutting them down. During the process, the wing flaps pull up, the elevators change position, and the various landing lights, formation lights, and IFF lights turn on.
