Franz Liszt, making black MIDIs since 1870. Jokes aside, this crazy arrangement of Rákóczi-Marsch for piano 4 hands (among about 10 arrangements of the same theme, including the famous Hungarian Rhapsody S.244/15) really shows that Liszt wanted to create an orchestra from 4 hands XD. There is also another version for 4 hands of this march (not catalouged in the Searle catalogue somehow) that we might do in some time in the future :D (the MS is located in the Goethe und Schiller-Archiv in Weimar) "The version here is the 4-hands transcription of Liszt’s elaborate orchestral march (Liszt also transcribed his orchestral version for two pianos, piano solo, and as simplified piano solo.) Liszt’s devotion to the theme and, by extension, to Hungary, is never clearer than in this fully symphonically developed work."
