If your washing machine is banging and shaking violently during the spin cycle buy the good replacement suspension rod kit, the Whirlpool W10780048, for $60 and then waste a couple of hours replacing your old ones like I did. This 24" suspension rod kit fits nearly all models but check first by entering your model number at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01.... Fits many Whirlpool, Kenmore, Maytag, Admiral, Amana, Inglis, and Roper washers. Not sure this is your problem? Watch my washer shake violently and make horrible noises at 0:46. I replaced the suspension rods and it runs fine now, just the normal barely noticeable wobble during the rinse/spin cycle. UPDATE: I did the repair on May 29th 2021 and now more than 3 1/2 years later the rinse cycle continues to work flawlessly without the banging and shaking. I strongly recommend you spend the extra money for the OEM suspension rods linked above. Those folks who got the cheaper ones (around $30) report they fail after just a few washes. UPDATE2: YouTuber Paul RATTANAPHANH added the comment that after making a repair like this you should calibrate the washer.
