DLSS 4 on RTX 4060 | 8 Games Tested (feat. Transformer Model) Thanks to DLSS Swapper software, we are able to take a quick look at DLSS 4 Upscaler even before its release date and I'm amazed by how it looks. I used to think that anything below DLSS Quality looked weird at 1440p, I even liked Balanced in some games but for most of them I would only use DLSS Quality, but thanks to DLSS 4 Transformer Model technology, DLSS 4 Performance is actually looking quite similar to DLSS 3 Quality, which is surprisingly great, now 1440p gaming became easier for GPUs like 3060 or 4060 (when not VRAM limited), just set DLSS to Performance at 1440p and you will have a great looking experience with good performance. Of course, the Transformer Model still has a few issues regarding shimmering in some specific scenarios, but this is the first version of DLSS 4, since they are updating DLSS frequently, it will probably get even better soon. The difference of DLSS 4 is bigger in some games, for example, I saw basically no difference by doing that on FF7 Rebirth and Black Myth Wukong but the other games in the list, the difference is quite considerable, especially Red Dead Redemption 2 and The Last of Us. For now, DLSS 4 is only available for Cyberpunk 2077, if you want to check how other games look, you must use DLSS Swapper software and turn on the Preset J on NVIDIA Profile Inspector.
