An Abandoned House at Sungai Bidut Village

Sungai Bidut is a historical and residential area in Sibu, one of the main towns in Sarawak. The name literally means “Bidut River” in Malay, referring to the river and the surrounding area that form an important part of the local community’s daily life. Today, I discovered an abandoned house hidden at the edge of the neighborhood. According to the local people, no one has lived there for years. I really love the surrounding soundscape, it’s simply beautiful. Every sound blends naturally together, forming a peaceful melody that makes the place feel alive despite its silence.
