IT'S TIME TO BUILD THOSE TRENCHES as today we take a look at the combat engineers squad for death korps krieg plastic kit. Combat Engineers have long been a part of the krieg armylist but this is the first time they are actually in plastic and I very much feel this kit is a glow up from the old resin kit, even if that one might have had more crisp details (though owing to it being a resin kit i don't have that squad to show for comparison as much as i'd love to) so these are an interesting non battle line choice being armed with slugthrowers instead of with las weapons and having the option to be kitted out for melee, which really isn't their strong suit. the main thing going for them on a rules front is their scout 6 inches rule which will allow for them to get closer to objectives before their first movement phase. (i really should have talked about their modern rules in the video abit more but i was kind of gripped by a desire to remember and look back on the old rules for them. as model go they are nice sculpts and I look forward to building more of them though getting the arms to behave was a bit fidly as the arms and weapons are separate parts which becomes an issue with the shotguns painting these took much longer than i anticipated which is why this video is a week late but such things happen and I hope you'll all enjoy it regardless of the delay
