A lot is happening at the contractor Dengg: Both in grassland and in the forestry and municipal sectors, customers are increasingly demanding complete solutions when awarding contracts. What is needed is efficiency, flexibility and versatility. This requires not only motivated and competent employees, but also tailor-made machines that can handle these tasks accordingly. In the area of ​​timber transport on partially unpaved roads, a BMF 16T 1Pro logging trailer with a drive axle was purchased in order to transport as much wood as possible from the forests in the mountain region in a way that protects the soil. In extreme terrain, where transport is not possible, soil hauling and skidding is still carried out using the Fendt 412 Vario and the 8-ton woodcutter cable winch. In addition, clearing and recultivation are being commissioned more and more frequently. It is necessary to expand the forestry area to include soil cultivation. For this reason, it was obvious for the company to purchase two soil tillers. For rubble and stones, the company invested in the multifunctional stone crusher FAE SFL 200, which crushes the material up to 15 cm deep and mixes it homogeneously. To facilitate further soil cultivation, the decision was made to use the Vigolo GV 285 reversible tiller with an attached APV PS300 M1 sawing unit. Due to its special working method, this covers larger stones with fine material, creating a perfect seedbed. If necessary, sowing can also be done in the same work step. These two machines had their baptism of fire during the recultivation of the golf course in St. Johann im Pongau (Salzburg) after the flood disaster in 2023. This golf course was extensively recultivated and redesigned with the new machines. Powerful attachments require a corresponding towing vehicle. A Valtra N175 Direct with full equipment including Twintrac reversing device was the tractor of choice, which is referred to internally as an "all-purpose weapon". In the grassland area, the combination of the required additional power and the load-bearing capacity of the slopes represents a challenge for contractors. Especially when mowing, every crossing, every turning maneuver and the weight of the machines play a major role. Here, the Fendt 312 Vario already on the farm was upgraded with a Pöttinger Novadisc 812 triple mower combination, an implement relief including side shift for the front mower and four twin wheels. The Bauer P 125 TL with Bomech trailing shoe distributor & long-throw nozzle, together with an identically equipped 6m³ slurry tank, represents the transport fleet for slurry fertilization.
