KANFEY with their stellar voices, brings a fresh young sound to Jewish Music inspired by Torah and tradition captivating young audiences abroad. Produced and Directed by Zvika Bornstein, the music video depicts a feather, floating thru the air randomly, letting the wind carry it to wherever it happened to go. No real direction, only arbitrary shifts of air currents that blow the feather all around. Children often see their lives very much like this proverbial feather, just floating around, carefree, catching another breeze. But although they may not always see it, there is a guiding flow, a direction they may follow if they choose to follow it. It’s the divine intervention, which is symbolized by the feather in “Virastich” music video. It may seem random at first, but this arbitrary feather leads them on a path to becoming a man. First, the Bar Mitzva boys who followed the feathers, find themselves amid a Hachnasat Sefer Torah for a very special Bar Mitzva boy - Shaya Feiner, who is wheelchair bound. The Bar Mitzva boys dance with him celebrating together receiving the yoke of Torah. Next, the feather takes them to the Sofer Stam who made their Tfilin, and they don their Tefillin for the very first time saying “Virastich”. From boys who followed the different air currents, to men who follow the Ruach Hatorah, the wind of the Torah, is what a Bar Mitzva is all about. Its following the Ruach and the spirit that will carry them on the wind of greatness. KANFEY made their first debut on Chanukah, 2020 with a hit single and a fun Music Video “Festival of Lights” with cameo appearance by Zusha and friends.
