I started out finding a school of bass almost right away; boating 5 bass out of 7 bites off a main lake point. You won't see any of those because my camera malfunctioned. Then after a lull in the action, I tied on a chatterbait, a lure I hardly ever use, with a Beasty Bug Jr from Phat Pak Baits as a trailer, and started nailing 'em. I didn't want to leave but the battery in the remote control for my trolling motor died and my backup was dead also. I had also left my backup-backup battery at home for the first time ever. What a day! I can't wait to go back! The bass are active NOW! And it's only going to get better.
