Historic movie about Tulsa Oklahoma produced by United States Information Service during the Cold War about 1950. Tulsa was chosen for this type of film as it depicts typical family life in 1940s & 1950s. The Carson family featured in this film lived in Mapleridge and the house still stands. The film shows the family in their daily routine, and highlights Tulsa industries and recreation. Originally produced on 16mm film, this footage has been enhanced to 1920x1020 and colorized by Jack Frank Productions.
