There are 23 districts in the Hungarian Capital, so I understand you're unsure where to stay in Budapest. In this video, I'll take you on a tour of Budapest and share 3 of the best areas to stay as a tourist. District 7 (also known as The Jewish Quarter) is the best area for nightlife and a trendy vibe. So, if you're coming to Budapest looking for the famous ruin bars, this is the place to stay. District 1 is the best area to stay for families and travellers looking for a more calm and more upscale part of town. The area is also known as The Castle District, where you'll find the Buda Castle and the iconic Fisherman's Bastion. District 5 is the best area to stay for most tourists as this is downtown Budapest, the city centre. Here, you'll find quite a few of the most famous attractions and things to do, so if you want to be close to all the action, staying in District 5 is a good idea. I hope this video on where to stay in Budapest helped you decide what area is best for you and that you're now ready to book a place to stay.
