Ahoy hoy! And happy new year! Today I get to talk about this guitar... You might not have heard of Revelation - but you should hunt them down... Firstly - it's not really a Grotty Guitar - in fact - it's one of only three guitars I have bought new! On moving to Sad Fernando Towers (Ha!) I searched on google for local music stores - and one turned up in Thame that I hadn't visited... not too close, but not too far away either. Do go and visit Vintage and Modern Guitars if you are in the neighbourhood - a superb shop https://www.vintageandmodernguitars.c... I couldn't afford the 1954 Gold Top Les Paul they had hanging up (and was frankly scared to even look at it...) so the owner pointed out this brand to me - Revelation. I'd not heard of them, but had heard of the pickup brand "Entwistle" - Alan Entwistle is one of the fathers of the UK guitar scene - please go and read up on him - another top chap like Trev Wilkinson... https://www.revelationguitars.co.uk/o... I tried out a few LP style guitars - and this one is astonishing - great woods, great pickups, great quality control and actually worth every one of the £350 pounds I spent on it... Honestly better than Epiphone, and better than many Gibsons I have played. Sure - it doesn't have that name, or history, but if you are after an excellent LP and don't care about "name" - give them a try. Toodle Pip!
