Overview of the Bluff City Bald Eagle Observation Project This project focuses on a bald eagle nest located in Bluff City, Tennessee, USA. It is a joint initiative by the East Tennessee State University (ETSU) Department of Biological Sciences and Bristol Tennessee Essential Services (BTES), conducted for the purposes of wildlife observation, education, and conservation. The nest is naturally constructed high in a tree, and live footage is provided through a camera system installed at the site. Although the location was severely impacted by Hurricane Helene in the fall of 2024, the eagles successfully rebuilt their nest and continue their breeding activities.
