Internal Family Systems Parts Map

Parts mapping helps identify various internal Parts and see relations between them. In this video, I’ll give you more information about it and explain how you can start to prepare an Internal Family Systems Parts Map. From the beginning, it is worth knowing some basics about IFS Parts and then trying to contact the inner world regularly. When we want to prepare a map of the Parts, we have a few options. We may start from the most active Parts or choose a particular experience or problem and identify Parts connected with it. IFS Parts Map is a great tool for further work with internal systems. We may create it through settling down in Self energy and then inviting Parts to appear. Remember that Self characterizes 8 C's qualities: creativity, compassion, calmness, courage, confidence, clarity, connectedness. It is needed to be sure that you are in Self. And when Parts start coming, you will be able to identify their characteristics. When you work with Parts, it is good not only to describe what you see. Write down some information about them too - their needs, feelings, intention, and qualities. You may also draw how you see various Parts and mark connections between them. Once you create an Internal Family Systems parts map, you will have a general view of the internal world.
