MOD Duo Pedal demo - "Small Is Beautiful" - Steve Lawson

This is a new track called Small Is Beautiful - it's out on Monday October 30th, on a subscriber-only album of the same name. See http://music.stevelawson.net for more info. I recorded this as an example of what's possible with just the MOD Devices MOD Duo pedal - normally my recording and live rig also includes a Looperlative LP1 for looping, a ton of other stand-alone pedals, a couple of Kaoss Pads and a Quneo for playing drums and keyboard parts with sounds from Fl Studio, so it's not always easy to tell what's the MOD Duo. So this is entirely the MOD Duo. The only other thing switched on in the signal path is my Jule Monique preamp before it. I've got the Duo hooked up to a Keith McMillen Softstep that I'm using to both turn effects on and off within the duo, and I'm using the CC pedal to go between the 'clean' side and the 'ambient' side of the signal chain I've built inside the Duo. All the looping, processing, overdrive, ambience, everything is inside the MOD Duo. It's a pretty versatile lil' box. :) See http://moddevices.com for more. Oh, and the bass is my Elrick SLC Gold Series 6 string, strung with Dunlop Nickel Superbrights, with Evidence Audio cables and a Dunlop Mini Volume Pedal.
