International Eye Cancer Registries: The Need for World Cooperation in Ophthalmic Oncology

This video describes the value, origin, creation, implementation and impact of international multicenter eye cancer registries. The viewer will understand how the power of registries collective action has been used to answer previously unanswerable clinical questions and to validate the AJCC/UICC staging systems that function as means of clinical and research communication.  Multicenter, international eye cancer registries recently been used to evaluate eye cancer staging systems and answer critical patient care questions. Learn how registries are made, the ways they are employed and their value compared to empiric medicine and single center studies.
