Jeffrey Louis- It's been a hard winter ( Preview ) Solo Piano "I am no more lost than you" ep FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE March 9, 2026 – Worldwide I Am No More Lost Than You Three Solo Piano Pieces with Orchestral Interventions On March 9, 2026, Jeffrey Louis Reed releases I Am No More Lost Than You, a collection of three intimate solo piano works shaped by subtle, dramatic orchestral interventions. Recorded in Berlin during an extraordinary freeze, the sessions took place on the day of a sudden thaw. For weeks the temperature had hovered at –14°C. Lakes and rivers remained sealed in ice. The city’s distinctive small, sharp stones—spread across black ice to prevent falls—found their way into shoes, into studios, into the margins of daily movement. Reed was in Berlin for a sold-out Uber Arena day performance, but outside that commitment he turned inward. The remaining days became a focused descent into sonic space. Notably, there was no parallel visual art practice during this period—an unusual stillness for an artist known for working simultaneously across disciplines. This time, the concentration was absolute: piano, space, resonance. The pieces are sparse yet expansive. Each composition begins in solitude—close-mic’d piano, breathing wood and felt—before orchestral textures enter like weather systems: restrained strings, distant harmonic swells, tonal fractures that feel both cinematic and deeply personal. The result is music suspended between isolation and shared human searching. The accompanying video was filmed from a Regionalbahn train cutting through the thawing German landscape—foggy forest dissolving into slate and earth, industrial edges softened by meltwater and motion. The moving frame mirrors the music’s quiet momentum: reflective, transient, unresolved. I Am No More Lost Than You is not a declaration of certainty, but of solidarity. A work shaped by cold, release, and the fragile warmth that follows. Available worldwide on March 9, 2026. FULL 2026 playlist : https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3uC...
