Creating stylized characters book preview / review from 3D publishing. This book is quite interesting, as you can see in the video it demonstrates a variety of styles for the same character brief, which I really liked. I would say most of the art in this book is more cartoony compared to realistic, but there is a large mix, and everyone has their own preference. Like most art books I think there are plenty of tips and tricks to learn throughout, regardless of what level artist you are, however I would say it's aimed more towards beginner / intermediate artists in my opinion. I'm on a bit of a 3D publishing book hype at the moment :D Let me know your thoughts on the book below!
