Entworfen hat dieses Flugzeug Geoffrey de Havilland. Dabei wurde die Tiger Moth als Schulflugzeug bei der britischen Royal Air Force eingesetzt. Gegen Ende der Einsatzzeit um das Jahr 1950 wurden viele D.H.82 zivil genutzt. Viele davon fliegen noch heute auf Veteranentreffen. Das Modell wurde dem Original liebevoll nachempfunden und weist sehr gutmütige Flugeigenschaften auf. Unsere Tiger Moth wurde von Grund auf für Elektroantriebe entwickelt. Das große, nach oben abnehmbare Cockpit erlaubt einfache Akkuwechsel und Wartungsarbeiten. Aufgrund der kompakten Größe kann das Modell zusammengebaut in den meisten PKWs transportiert werden, ohne die Tragflächen abzubauen. Plesae got to: www.shop.pichler.de The deHavilland D.H.82 Tiger Moth is a single-engine powered Trainer Biplane having its first flight in 1931. The Tiger moth was designed by Geoffrey deHavilland. It was widely used as a Trainer airplane at the Royal Air Force (RAF). Toward the end of 1950, most of the D.H.82 airplanes were used in civil areas. Many of those are still flying on Vintage Airmeetings until today. Our Model Tiger Moth was skillfully reproduced after the original airplane and shows many scale details. Flying characteristics are very gently and predictable. Most important, the model was designed as an electric airplane from the ground up so the airframe is on the lighter side. The extra large, detachable top cabin hatch allows for easy battery replacement and maintenance. The assembled model is able to fit in most cars, so you dont necessarily need to uninstall the wings when transporting the model.
