Funny - Distracted pedestrian - FDNY Engine 65 & Mini Ambulance Polaris

FDNY Engine 65 and EMS units are being dispatched to a medical call in the busy Times Square area. Very often, small FDNY Polaris EMS-Units, which are basically mini-ambulances are sent to EMS calls in that crowded area. They are usually on standby around Times Square waiting for calls. The purpose of those units made by ASAP (Alternative Support Apparatus, specialized in building All-Terrain emergency UTVs) is to reduce response times and get access to places where regular vehicles can not. In this case the Polaris was sitting in front of Engine 65 Firehouse that's why I was able to catch them both on video. Funny in this video : the firemen have a hard time with pedestrians, look at their faces when they finally manage to stop that guy while the engine leaves the bay. Nowadays people are so much concentrated on their smartphones that they don't realize what is going on around them.
