Unfair dismissal Remedies Reinstatement and re engagement

This talk deals with the remedies of reinstatement and re-engagement which a UK employment tribunal can order. From April 2014 all employees will have to engage in "early conciliation". They will have to contact ACAS and ACAS will see whether it is possible to reach an agreement with the former employer. It is important that before making contact with ACAS an employee should know roughly what their claim may be worth and what remedies may be available to them. These talks are aimed at enabling employees and employers to know the rules about some of the remedies a tribunal can give in the case of unfair dismissal (or discrimination).
