The video demonstrates a suprachoroidal viscopexy procedure being performed in the office setting. Subconjunctival anesthesia with lidocaine was given, and a transconjunctival injection of 0.6 mL suprachoroidal sodium hyaluronate, 2.3%, was carried out in the location of the break after the injection site was verified internally with indirect ophthalmoscopy. While the viscoelastic was injected by the assistant, a dome-shaped suprachoroidal buckle formed around the injection site. Central retinal artery perfusion was confirmed before patient discharge. The patient was able to resume normal activity immediately after the procedure with no restrictions.
