Tobermory Disc Golf Course Preview

I went to the island of Mull (on the west coast of Scotland) for a day to play on the new 9 hole disc golf course being installed in Aros Park near Tobermory. It's a really promising course and every hole has unique character and challenges. I hope it is a success and the Forestry Commision will consider expanding it or developing other courses on their land. I parked in Oban (£6) and took the Craignure ferry as a foot passenger (45 min / £8 return) then got the 95 bus to Tobermory (52 min / £13 return). The bus dropped me off near Aros Park and it was a 20 min walk to hole 1. Take plenty of water and snacks and use UDisc to find your way about. The bus should pick you up at the same spot or further along the road at Struan Crescent, but you might be better taking the coastal walk back to Tobermory (2 miles), ensuring you get a place on the bus back to Craignure. In Tobermory you will also find refreshments after your many rounds.
