ALMATY Kazakhstan ONE of the MOST AMAZING cities in the world!!

Welcome everyone, from Almaty, Kazakhstan! Kazakhstan is a place that truly amazed me! On this visit which was my first time traveling to Kazakhstan (Казахстан, Қазақстан), I traveled to Almaty (Алматы). Without having read about the city much before traveling or seeing pictures, I was really stunned to find such an incredible city, Almaty! This is a mountain city with some of the best weather one could ask for with beautiful sunny days, memorable sunsets and evening walks around the city, and an incredible culture, people and community that makes this city one of the most amazing cities that I have seen so far around the world. The streets are filled with people during sunset in the evenings, taking in the surrounding, enjoying the crisp air, and the company of their neighbors, family and friends. This is a city where you can truly relax, enjoy the simple things, and one where you can see that the locals are fully content and happy in their daily lives. Almaty, and Kazakhstan as a whole, took me by surprise and gave me an increased perspective and an experience that I will always remember. You can feel a sense of culture and community, a crossroads between Asia, eastern Europe and the Middle East where you get a mix of cultures, diversity of food (incredible food!), and a sense of great pride yet restraint among the locals who revere their city, Almaty, and their country. Almaty is a gem that has been rather hidden, but as others discover and experience this incredible city it will be, as I can see, a gem that shines around the world. This was a memorable experience, one filled with a great sense of satisfaction, and one with a longing to come back again in the future. This I know will not be my last time in Almaty, Kazakhstan..
