Aero socks look good and save precious watts. I’ll tell you why I think aero socks are the most cost-effective aero upgrade you can make for cycling. But as everyone that has tried them already knows, a major downside to them is that even the best made aero socks rarely stay up and in place on long, hot rides. I demonstrate how using a medical adhesive spray, like Mueller’s Tuffner Pre-tape, is the best and most secure way to keep your cycling socks from slipping down your legs. I test it out myself on an indoor spin to see how well they keep my socks in place.
