I have been avoiding All the young dudes for so many years and I didn't even know why. Some of my friends from high school were OBSESSED with it and I guess I wanted to be the odd one out by disliking it for no reason. When I joined tiktok, most specifically booktok, I saw a lot of marauders content pop up on my FYP and at first, I was like... why are they showing me this? And later, I came to realize the FYP know me better than my own mother and that I had to give All the young dude a shot. Needless to say that I had been wrong for a LONG time. This fan fiction is far from a piece of classical literature but that's what I like the most about it actually. Sure its fun to read big words and perfect phrases once in a while but it's also very comforting to feel like the characters are speaking to you. The way it is written, trough Remus's point of view really gets me. He was my favorite Harry Potter character when growing up, so was Sirius (Seriously, why was I so stubborn? It was CLEAR that I would like this fic...) Anyway, I am very glad to be reading it now and I can't wait for my heart to be broken in the end :') Hope you enjoy this edit!
