NOTE: This is an automated updating weather loop for Southeast Texas. Weather Impact Alert Saturday between 2 pm and 11 pm as widespread, mainly afternoon showers and thunderstorms are expected. A Slight to Enhanced risk of severe weather is forecast with severe thunderstorms capable producing isolated tornadoes, damaging winds of of 58 to 75 mph and damaging hail of 1 to 2 inches. Watches are likely. Saturday evening, showers and thunderstorms are expected to gradually move east by early Sunday monring. A significant cold front then drives through Southeast Texas Saturday evening which will be followed by below normal temperatures Sunday through at least Wednesday of next week. Sunday morning, low temperatures will be in the lower 50s with highs in the lower to middle 60s with decreasing cloudiness. Lows in the lower to middle 40s are expected Monday and Tuesday with highs in the middle to upper 60s rising into the lower 70s with ample sunshine. Another chilly morning is expected next Wednesday with lows in the middle to upper 40s followed by a warmer afternoon with highs in the lower to middle 70s.
