When he was scouted, he was a pre-medical student at a university, trying to become a Veterinarian or an animal doctor like “Dr. Dolittle.” Koji was born and grew up in Fukuoka City, Fukuoka-prefecture on Kyushu Island of J to J-parents. He is smart, tall, and handsome. Today (2018), he plays a major role in films that are very popular among the young generation of people all over the world... “Kamen Rider Kiva.” Koji also played supporting roles as Satoru Okura in “A.ta.shi.n.chi no Dan.shi,” Ariake Yamato in “O.to.men,” and Eiji Kikumaru in “Te.ni.myu.” Koji stars as Mori Ranmaru in the drama, “Gō: Hi.me-ta.chi no Sen.goku (The Princesses in the Civil War Period in J”). In 2010, Koji was named one of the most promising actors, placing 7th in a poll conducted by Oricon, J’s major entertainment company. Through his role with “Kamen Rider Kiva,” he was also the lead vocalist of the J-Rock band “Tetra-Fang.” The lively, charming, and bright multi-talented Koji is nicknamed “Seto-maru” and is a member of the acting group D-Boys.
