♪♫ when oceans rise, my soul will rest in Your embrace for I am Yours and You are mine ♪♫ only because easter just came up & i've always wanted to make a cover of this. here's to probably the 853974th take! made a handful of mistakes but if i don't settle w this one i would never settle. being one of my favorites, i never thought i could do justice to this heartfelt, gut-wrenching song. i'm surprised i didn't start bawling my eyes out but if you weren't able to listen to my full version i urge you to atleast listen to the original version by hillsong. they're a literal walking blessing on earth. this song has always touched me ever since i first heard it but until lately it only started to hit harder than ever. lately life has thrown me around like clothes in the wash but through it all God has shown me how to get back up & use it for the better. many people have different ways to deal with hardships in life but i do know trusting in the Lord is where i find peace. as an imperfect person i stray from His path numerous times to the extent where i fail to see the point in life itself. but again & again He has picked me up from every hole i dug myself into. again & again He has shown me the plans He has for me along with an abundance of blessings & i choose to stay alive to carry on His glory. this is just the beginning. thankful for everyone who's carried me through this journey & for everyone who hasn't. thankful for all who've gone through the same because you're not alone. you are loved. ☺️
