Today i am in Czech Republic for work and i decided to go for a walk in Prague 9. I started at my hotel and made my way over to a nice park located very close. It was fun to see the differences between my country and Prague. Enjoy! Podviní Park is a public park in Prague in the Vysočany and Libeň districts. It was created in the years 1997–1998, realized according to the designs of Stanislav Špoula, Miroslav Pacner, Petr Hořejš and Libor Culka. The dominant feature of the park is a stone fortification resembling a lizard, which is ruled by a ten-meter-high trunk of an old oak tree with its roots turned upwards. The park is bordered on the south side by Rokytka, into which flows from the park an artificially created system of streams through which the park is interwoven and which flow from the lake below the fort. The streams with small bridges create a pleasant atmosphere of the whole park. The park is equipped with numerous benches and places to relax.
