Al-Ilm. Quran is the complete code of life and it describes the basic laws like: Constitutional law. Civil law Criminal law Trade laws Family laws Commerce laws, etc. Purpose of Quran is to awaken In men the higher consciousness on his relation with Allah and the universe. Following are the main legislative portions of Quran. Religion and its duties. Qusai religious and Qusai social laws. Contract, Sale and Purchase, etc. Punishment of crimes, etc. Quran has: 30 Divisions called Para, 114 chapters called Surah, 6666 verses called Ayah. Following are the examples of Quranic legislation in Pakistan. Muslim family laws ordinance 1961. Hadood ordinance 1979. Qanoon-e-shahadat ordinance 1984.
