1957 Harold Koplowitz birthday party

My 6th or 7th birthday party, circa 1957, at my home at 906 W. Grand Ave. in Carbondale, Illinois. I was in grade school at U-School, and that was the year the boys in my class invited every other boy in class, no girls allowed (same for girls) for birthday parties. My dad, Julius, had an 8mm movie camera with attached lights and filmed a snippet of my party that year. Obviously, I was less concerned about gun control back then. In the 1990s, my brother Sandy had the silent movies turned into videotapes and gathered the family (mom Audrey but minus me) together to narrate the films. Later I transferred the videotapes to digital media.
