This is an advanced beginning or Silks L1+ sequence of the SPLIT ROLLUP entrance into a CROSSBACK STRADDLE! This entrance is great for performing because the audience always loves a split, and then of course once you are upside down in your Crossback Straddle you can take a rest, spin, or play with the silks tails. My name is Laurie Bloom and I am ACE (American Council on Exercise) certified in both Group Fitness and Personal Training and also have a 200 hour Yoga Certification from Yoga Renew. I toured the world as a dancer when I was younger and now I train Aerial Silks and Contortion as a 43 year old adult. My mantra is: It's Never Too Late! And while it can be harder to learn new skills and train your body to do certain things when you're older, I've seen amazing transformations from people of all ages.
