This 9-minute piece explores spectral synthesis, textural collage, and found sound. Movement inside the patch is driven largely by ADDAC's Random Bezier Waves, distributed through passive mults and manipulated by slider attenuators. Random Bezier Waves animates VHIKK X in ways that are organic and unstable — resulting in drifting tonality, spectral pulls and textural smears. Against that backdrop, Sherpa Modular Raw Waves 2 injects distorted transmissions, fragmented speech, and decayed radio artifacts. Sometimes Raw Waves becomes the foreground before VHIKK returns to take on a new form. 🎧 Best heard on headphones or good speakers. ✨ Please like and subscribe — it helps a lot, and thank you! Main Signal Flow Path: VHIKK X → Xaoc Zagrzeb → Strymon StarLab → Xer Dualis → Mińsk → Strymon AA.1 Secondary Path: VHIKK X + Raw Waves → Lifeforms 2+2 → FX Aid (Blackhole) → Xer Dualis The two paths define the mix and Minsk shapes it: --The main spectral lane for the VHIKK X is through Zagrzeb and StarLab --A secondary atmospheric path is through Lifeforms 2+2 → FX Aid with Blackhole reverb. (The FX Aid path is mostly set and forget, but the Blackhole reverb adds a depth of field that occasionally rises into prominence.) --Finally, Mińsk shapes the stereo field. It's image is dynamically changed via the Bela Gliss and one of the slider/attenuators. The result is a short, self-contained exploration of movement, interruption, and spectral decay — more narrative than technical, more texture than tone. @forge_tme @strymon =============================== Special thanks to @emptyvesselnz for his camaraderie, and to @CinematicLaboratory and @pierresgenerativemusic for inspiring me to create videos.
