Gore FX Test

This was a short sequence I shot in the spring of 2010 in order to test a couple effects for a full length feature, Maniac Mutant Massacre. Shortly after filming this effects test, the entire project fell through. I just edited it together today for the first time to finally see how it would have looked. It was shot on a low end mini-dv camera. The audio was terrible so I eliminated it and replaced it with Ram Jam's Black Betty, which will likely be removed from the video by YouTube. Update, Feb, 2015, it was finally taken down so I chose some random youtube music to put over it. This is not a scene from the proposed film, mearly a test of some of the effects in the film. I would have continued to test effects until I was happy before filming, but it wasn't meant to be. But this is a small taste of what my ultra-low-budget gore-opus could have been. Update: Feb 5th, 2015...I think I'm finally going to make this movie!
