Background story of the video: Based on several fan fictions ideas. In the video we can watch Helga reading lots of letters, well it's supposed that she received this letters from Arnold while he was on San Lorenzo, but she never read them before because she was feeling abandoned by him, after he came back, later of some situations that make they join, they became friends again, but he ask her if she still love him, and tell her to read the letters because he put his soul on them. While she starts reading the letters a long rain starts too, for two days rain didn't stops (this time it wasn't flood) Arnold and Helga have a date the second day, but in the beginning she wants to skip, because she doesn't want to admit in front of Arnold that she still loves him, but after find the words "I wonder if you are still waiting for me" she knows he still be waiting for her, even under the rain. Intended to be aired on Nick at Nite, the show focused on the life of Helga Pataki in her teenage years, her family, and classmates. Craig Bartlett wrote a pilot script with Michelle Lamoreaux in 2000. However, it turned out to be "too dark" for Nickelodeon's intended audience. The series was also offered to music channel MTV. This was during the time when the channel began to air animated shows like Beavis and Butt-head, as opposed to full length music videos. However, the channel declined it, as it was too similar to another show called Daria, which didn't do too well in the ratings and was eventually removed from the schedule. Some information about The Patakis leaked through Craig Bartlett's chats and interviews.
