BSHAA was delighted to welcome Jodie Ounsely and her father, Phil, in a conversation with Alex Gardner, BSHAA's Head of Marketing and Communications. Jodie's story is a powerful testament to the life-changing impact of audiology. Born prematurely, medication to treat her condition resulted in profound deafness. However, thanks to a cochlear implant at a young age (making her the youngest in the country at the time), Jodie has thrived.
