As the final touches go into building Albert Park ready to launch the 2025 Formula 1® season, there's a whole team at the Australian Grand Prix Corporation responsible for operating the venue once gates open. This is the team responsible, for customer experience. From transport, to security, customer service, emergency services, traffic control, accreditation and more, the Operations team are the unsung heroes of an Australian Grand Prix, responsible for the safety and enjoyment of what is projected to be the biggest Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix™ in it's history at Albert Park. So what does it take to run a Grand Prix and operate a circuit on an F1® weekend? What decisions need to be made? Each year the Australian Grand Prix Corporation actively seeks feedback, to identify both the things that are working, and the areas where customer experience could be improved and in 2025, the team have invested a great deal of time, effort and resources into building a better Albert Park. In 2025, this includes: 55% more shade 22% more superscreens 23% more hydration stations (free drinking water) 27% more public bars 17% more toilets 1 x new pontoon to cross the Albert Park Lake 1 x new overpass to ease congestion and reduce bottlenecks It's an incredible big challenge to turn a public park into an F1® caliber circuit each year, and we hope you've enjoy the insight into how we build Albert Park.
