What if I told you the hardest model to build in the entirety of the Saturnine box wasn't the massive dreadnought or the Infinite Saturnine Shoulder Brigade? It feels like a lie, but WOW. I'm amazed at how rough I found this build to be. I was thinking 'typical space marine' going in- and that was a mistake. It's all about the cape. This is the most difficult piece of fashionable plastic I've ever struggled to get onto a miniature. Don't get me wrong, it's a sick looking cape. Actually just the model in general is fantastic- I'm really digging the sculpt. But dang. That was rough. It could be a skill issue. :,[ Although maybe I shouldn't be writing any of this out until I actually build my first MKII marine. Maybe they're crazy all on their own(!) In either case, we'll find out soon!
